May the Circle Be Unbroken

A quick update on nogarD, he is back on Saturna and enjoying Fall in his Salamander Pond home....he has lots of water now. The desert was just too dry for him, his skin was getting very itchy ....

We all expressed our views on the location for Dog's Town and we have reached a decision to buy our very own Island here off the West Coast! I have been searching the net and have found a big, beautiful island, that is privately owned and for sale. It has a house big enough for all of us to live in, trees and forest trails ...and a big pond so nogarD can visit. There are four large meadows and sandy beaches, hills to climb and a big dock to tie up boats. It is PERFECT! The island does not have a name yet so we chose one ourselves....we will call our island Chip-Chap-Tiqulk Island. In the Salish Indian language this means 'Animal People' for the Indians believed that animals were people. We like that.

Margaret is going to write up an offer on our Island ...oh I do so hope we can get it.... we will know by tomorrow. Our gold is advertised on eBay (with a box number for contact, we do not want people to know where we are) and at the current exchange rate I think we will have lots of money to buy the Island with lots leftover for setting up our town!

Chip-Chap-Tiqulk Island
We are all so excited about having our own Island. We will invite all of our friends to be with us...I think the Dragons and Wozart and Priscinda will just love it. Margaret  suggested that we sit  in a paw circle and give thanks for the blessings we have received and ask for wisdom to set up our Dog's Town....we bow our heads and then we all join in... Tansy, Dusty, Hurley, Red and Me Robbie, we sing out ' May The Circle Be Unbroken'

Will the circle be unbroken, by & by Lord by & by
There's a better way to live now, we can have it if we try
I was singing with my family, I was singing with my friends
And we all can sing together, 'cause the circle never ends

  3. Inka says: The very best place
For a Dog's Town to be
Is an isle in the midst/Of the Salish Sea
    Where everyone's happy
    And everyone's free
    In our forever home
    In the sweet Salish Sea.
