Mom and DOD did not have a good start to the day! DOD discovered the big chest freezer had quit working and all the food was thawed out!! The meat was still cold but Mom said it could not be re-frozen ...so she put some roasts in the oven for Lacey and me.....I am so looking forward to a roast beef dinner!!
It is paw-wiping season again. What a drag. And of course Lacey does not know about paw wiping so we have foot prints all over the hardwood. Mom says she feels like going back to bed and starting this day over again. I don't know why she is feeling sorry for herself ...we have not been on our walk yet!!!
I do hope the afternoon is better.
Cheer up, Robbie--the rain is welcome, especially for nogarD and the growing things, and it's supposed to stop for the afternoon. Blue and Inka are not crazy about the rain either, so we will delay our walk til later. It's true that defrosting freezers are a doggie's delight! Sad for Mom tho- but you can freeze leftovers too.

ReplyDeleteDUSTY: Oh, so sad about the freezer. Our electric was off 38 hrs during hurricane. Scribe/Pop threw away all food in freezer and fridge. HURLEY: But, they didn't fix us any Roast Beef. You and Lacey are so blessed, Robbie!
