Times they are a changing

My life is just not what it used to be and somehow I have to take charge of getting it back! For instance, Lacey now rushes out the door ahead of me...everyone knows that it is her way of trying to usurp (good word huh?) my authority. Then yesterday morning as I was napping she came up and whacked me on the head with her paw! I was not impressed....but, mom told me boys never bite girls, so I let it pass. That was a big mistake. She wanted to play in the afternoon...so I said okay and we sort of chased each other ....and then...she bit my ear and rolled me down the bank!!  Okay not hard, but a mature male dog deserves more respect than that!!

We are off for a walk with DOD....Lacey has to be on a leash and I do not, so I run around and bark to tease her.....hmmmm.....do you think this might be why she whacks me over the head when we get back??

  1. Inka thinks it probably is her way of inviting you to play. It's a bit clumsy, granted, but remember she's just learning. It's good that she is getting more confident.Too bad about the car seat tho. She's very like a puppy!

  2. I think Inka is right but I will assert my authority just so she learns the right way!

We are trying to forget about the car seat. DOD ordered the replacement seat yesterday...he has the torn part covered with a blanket until the new one gets here!

  3. Boston Jackie thinks Robbie needs to man up. Lacey is not your real sister, not even a terrier!! Show her some of those boy moves I told you about...then she'll sit down and be very careful around you. It's the only way buddy.

  5. Robbie dear , it seems threr are some rough spots to be negotiated when you have a rambunctious younger sister who is challenging you . Let her know who is boss Robbie and ask mom to help. Lacey just cannot be allowed to rush throuugh the door IN FRONT of you, a mature dog.........!!!!!!!. Tansy says hold on to your territory Robbie but be nice and play with her, Tansy says she was a right little pest to her older sisters and she was the small one.
