I start my work day early on sunny mornings. I am up before 6.00am and out on the job checking for Otters and any Raccoons that have not yet gone to bed. Then, I rush back into the house for my treats and wait patiently (No, not really) for DOD to finish his coffee. Some mornings, like this morning, he takes far too long! He dawdles and chats with mom and I have to get downright cranky to get him moving! Finally, we set off through the gate and down the little winding road. I have to stop and sniff for strange animals.....I smelled a Mink this morning....a couple of mice and a feral cat. We even saw an Owl!!
It was a good morning.
