A Golden Evening

At this time of year the sun dips to the ocean and paints sky and water golden....the gold shines into my house and the reflection dances on the walls. Summer, even a cool and damp summer can be so beautiful!

mom and I did a brisk walk earlier......we walked for an hour and we didn't meet anyone on the roads or trails......we like that. mom usually sings or hums.....occasionally I join in. And then she tells me to give her a kiss and I run back an jump up for a hug and kiss.....we laugh.

Life on an Island is the best (most of the time) no leashes....no collars....everyone is a friend or neighbour.....
